Melbourne Corpus Christi Procession 2026: ‘We become Christ-bearers’

This year's Corpus Christi procession drew thousands onto the streets of Melbourne to witness to the real presence of Jesus Christ in the Eucharist. ‘Christ has come among us,’ said Archbishop Peter A Comensoli. ‘We carry the blessed Eucharist through the streets because Christ desires to enter every heart and every place, especially those marked by anxiety, suffering, and the wounds that we carry.
